World can be such a nice place to live in...

I spent around 2-3 hrs. watching some of Russell Peters shows today and really it was so much of fun. The guy is simply brilliant with an awesome command on language and accents. The way he picks up incidents around him, especially the ones related to people and their habits, culture and nature, and the humor that thus originates due to differences in one’s sex, color, religion and origin brings up so much of light and healthy laughter that it is hard to believe that these jokes have their roots in something so hyped and tabooed to talk about in real day-to-day life.

And the fun part is to see all these different kinds of people coming together and sharing a laugh with each other without really caring or getting overly possessive or sentimental about what being said and about whom. People from varying ethnic groups laughing their heart out, enjoying themselves, having a lovely time and more importantly learning to laugh and being laughed at… It is such an overwhelming feeling to see something like that.

Seriously, this World can be such a nice place to live in if people start accepting things about and around them and learn to share laughs with others…

I watched her walk past me today. I have always watched her walk past me. But today was different. I wore a naive smile, waved my hand and in a soft hushed tone said hi. And she replied with a smile to die for. For once it appeared everything has come to a standstill. I closed my eyes and waited for the feeling to sink in. Oh! God, I like her soooo much. I could have done anything for her. But I also know she can never be mine. I just have this one smile of her with me. That's all I've got...
